The APIG Press Alliance is a partner of New World Encounters, a series of virtual meetings that will take place from September 17 to October 2, 2020.
In order to continue learning despite the health crisis, New World Encounters is launching six virtual sessions to explain the strategies of German leaders in the digital media industry, such as: Zeit Online, Funke Media Group, Axel Springer, Welt+, etc.
The objectives of this event
New World Encounters helps media managers facing a rapidly changing world to continuously update their knowledge by comparing themselves to their peers around the world, through in situ or remote events to develop their competitive advantage.
In the wake of the health crisis, many media also face burning issues such as: how to survive the pandemic? How to compensate for the loss of advertising revenues by increasing digital revenues? How to gain subscribers and reduce churn? How to implement new editorial strategies? Etc.
The Alliance, partner of New World Encounters
New World Encounters believes that even if each medium must find its own formula for success, exchanges with those who have already embarked on the same journey of transformation will be inspiring and ultimately very useful in forging their own solutions.
The Alliance, a place for sharing and collaboration between publishers, particularly on digital development issues, can only support this approach.
Who is this program for?
This unprecedented programme is reserved to members of press publisher management, managers in charge of the digital transition, new editorial offers, digital and marketing departments, etc.
Press Alliance
The General Information Press Alliance is the result of the union of the four historical unions of the daily press and related media – national, regional, departmental and regional weekly press. Created in 2018, the organisation brings together and represents nearly 300 political and general information press titles, which are major players in the democratic debate and pluralism of expression at the national, regional and local levels.
